The in-person intensive will be held at one of James’ favorite places to teach, Jasmine Trust Yoga Center in Retford, United Kingdom.
The livestream component takes place online via Zoom prior to the in-person gathering and may be attended from anywhere with reliable internet access. All livestream sessions are recorded in case you need to miss a class.

About Gentle Somatic Yoga® Level 3
This innovative Level 3 training, that you will not find anywhere else, invites you to apply and refine the neuroscience-based principles introduced in previous GSY trainings. You will learn how to assess your students’ and clients’ needs and confidently select the most appropriate somatic protocols to support comfort, safety, and sustainable change.

Integrating somatic intelligence into movement-based therapeutic modalities

In this advanced training, you will explore:
12+ Assisted Pandiculation protocol sequences, each with a specific anatomical focus for common physical conditions
James’ tried-and-true hands-on techniques, refined over more than 35 years in private practice, designed to address common patterns of chronic pain, stiffness, postural imbalance, and functional limitation
50+ Somatic Movement Flows® adapted for chair-based practice, expanding accessibility and therapeutic application
You will also be invited to reframe everyday movement as a somatic lifestyle. Because modern life involves so much time seated, this training emphasizes mindful, practical strategies to strengthen the brain-to-muscle connection in real-world contexts.
